Fitness is defined as “increased work capacity across broad time, age and modal domains”.
This means we are increasing the “work” we are able to do in lots of movements, in time and as we age. Of coarse, as we continue to age our capacity to work will eventually diminish. Our goal is to get as fit as we possibly can and stay there for as long as possible!
This means we have to be constantly pushing ourselves to work harder, faster and lift heavier. Exercise gives results as long as we do this intensely! We can’t get good results by coming in once a week or by coming in everyday and just doing a little bit of work as we feel like it. If getting a fit is your goal, you can do it here! If you have trouble pushing yourself, trust your trainer to push you a litter further while keeping you safe. We want you to be fit and make us proud!
